That’s right, if you weren’t already aware, we manufacture the windows and doors that we install as well. It’s all part of our commitment to offering the finest products, expertly installed, to give you the full service that you deserve. 

IGU Quality 

We recently invested more than £1million in our state-of-the-art Forel Vertical IGU-line. IGU – that’s insulating glass units – are, naturally, key components in our market-leading windows and doors, so it’s vital that we get these manufactured quickly, efficiently and reliably. 

This investment will deliver a 45% uplift in capacity on our current 10,000 IGU a week capacity. 

To quote our team, this will allow “faster manufacture, better quality and greater control of cost” – all of which are key components in your next project, helping you to get the windows and doors, plus the results from them, that you need. 

Let’s Talk Technical 

Just for a moment! This new IGU line will feature a Vertical Washer and Forel’s Art AS Flexible Spacer Applicator. The applicator automatically applies spacer bars to the edge of the glass sheet with an ultra-high level of accuracy, helping to maximise thermal performance by creating an instant and improved bond compared with traditional systems. 

Simultaneously, the coupling press couples IGUs and fills them with gas ahead of automatic sealing. This delivers an accurate final seal, which vitally and significantly reduces the likelihood of any failures.
