What Does This Certification Mean?
Assure is an official, UKAS‑accredited Competent Persons Scheme authorised by the UK Government for the self‑certification of replacement windows, roof windows, roof lights and doors across England and Wales. The scheme is designed to help installers demonstrate compliance with the Building Regulations without the need to submit a building notice or appoint an approved inspector.
By working with Assure, T&K Home Improvements can register your installation directly with the Local Authority, giving you peace of mind that your home improvement is both legal and properly documented.

For T&K Home Improvements customers, Assure provides added reassurance that comes from dealing with a recognised and audited scheme focused on compliance and quality. Choosing an Assure‑certified installer means that your project has been carried out by professionals with the required Mandatory Technical Competences (MTC) and that your installation meets the standards set out in national regulations.
Once the work is completed and registered with Assure, you’ll receive a Building Regulations Compliance Certificate as proof that everything has been done to the right standard, giving you confidence and support long after the installation is finished.
