We welcome and invite independent audits to verify these attitudes on a regular basis and our aims are to seek continual improvement wherever we are able to do so to enance our exceptional reputation.

Which Trusted Trader

A Which? Trusted Trader must undergo a rigorous assessment process in order to become accredited. This includes credit checks, customer reference checks and a visit from a Which? Trusted Traders assessor.

The visit includes an assessment of various aspects of the business such as business processes, documentation and complaints procedures.

Only traders who satisfy this assessment process are awarded Which? Trusted Trader status.

G06, G09, G12 and G14 Awards

At a glittering awards ceremony held in London in November 2014, T&K were awarded with the highest accolade in the glazing industry, the 2014 National Conservatory Installer of the Year Award.

Independent adjudicators said in their tribute: "T&K displayed everything that is good about our industry. Excellent product quality, well trained and committed staff, a real commitment to proper customer service, and an unblemished reputation for over 35 years. We were particularly impressed with T&K's uncompromising approach to ensure the highest standards were met when installing products in their customers' homes."

T&K were also proud to win the prestigious "National Windows and Doors Installer of the Year Award" at the Glazing Industry Awards in 2012 and "National Conservatory Installer of the Year Award" in 2006.

In 2008 we were also the first installation company ever to reach the finals in two separate Award categories. T&K were also runners-up in the 2009 ‘Conservatory Installer of the Year’ category. This shows our consistent and persistent assistance on quality throughout the whole installation process.

Secured by Design: Police Security

Secured by Design is the official Police preferred high security specification for windows and doors. T&K’s windows also carry the British Standard 7950 ‘Windows of Enhanced Security’ Certification.

Ultra Installer Scheme

To maintain membership of this elite group, T&K must display a sound knowledge in the design and construction of Conservatories. All members must achieve a proven 100% customer satisfaction rating, and this is independently monitored by the BBA. Each member must achieve a minimum score of 67/100 to maintain membership and T&K currently holds the highest ever national score – 94/100 in October 2014. You can read the full report here.

To be recognised as a Pilkington energiKare partner, Pilkington have checked T&K’s credentials with regards to Window Energy Ratings and installation proficiency.

U-comply: Energy Rated Windows & Doors

As an approved manufacturer of certified Energy Rated Windows & Doors, T&K has exclusive access to U-Comply, which is audited and approved by Certass, Fensa and the British Standards Institute. This allows T&K to demonstrate thermal performance compliance on every window and door.

DGCOS Founding Member

T&K is a founder member of the Double Glazing and Conservatory Ombudsman Scheme, endorsed by consumer champion, Nick Ross.

This gives every T&K customer access to an independent Ombudsman in the event of any dispute.
